Materials Manager, Tamps, MX

Supplier control (based on quality and performance).
• Programming of plant length and capacity.
• Management of packaging and Ownership accounts
• Customer service support.
• Control of materials.
• Weekly reconciliation of accounts.
• Maintain acceptable RIP and RAW inventory levels
• RIP tracking.
• Understand and monitor the Quality Systems applicable to the position
• Establish production capacities.
• Parts delivery schedule.
• Management of transportation accounts.

Other Essential Abilities and Skills:
Bilingual: English/Spanish
• Ability to travel up to 25%
• Education: BS or BA (Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related area, MBA or MS a plus)
• Strong customer focus orientation
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams using strong collaborative skills
• Demonstrated ability to drive solutions at all levels of an organization
• Strong organization, problem solving and leadership skills
• Detailed understanding of Supply Chain practices and metrics
• Strong financial management, analysis, communication & presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively on a regional and Global Functional basis both horizontally and vertically
• Excellent written & verbal communication

Background Preferred (but not required):
• Industry relevant certifications (e.g. LEAN, Six Sigma, APICS, PMP)
• Drive Lean/Value Stream Mapping opportunities to effectively eliminate waste and drive operational cost to defined targets
