Is responsible for Accounts Payable, general Accounting and invoicing, commission and cash application departments and treasury. Other responsibilities include the preparation of financial statements for operation and the consolidated financial statements . Responsible for establishing and maintaining banking relationships for the domestic operations and control the funding activities. Manages the annual financial statement audit including interfacing with internal and external auditors and coordinating all activities between the two groups. Is responsible for forecasting other income and deductions as well as analyzing actual results.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Supervise, Accounts Payable, general accounting and invoicing, commission and cash application departments.
• Responsible for the preparation of the local Operations financial statements.
• Consolidate the financial statements for Operations North America.
• Authorize and initiate wire transfers for USA and Mexico.
• Forecast other income and deductions for North America.
• Manage the annual audit of the financial statements.
• Assist in the preparation of financial presentations.
• Prepare the annual budget package (Financial Review) and five-year plan (Profitability Review) for presentation to company's senior management.
• Year-end financial reporting

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Improve the systems and operations of the General Accounting Department.
• Develop, implement and maintain new process and systems in the finance department.
• Provide direction to reporting units with regard to proper accounting procedure and policy.
• Review cost accounting reports submitted from manufacturing reporting units
• Generate Capital, Headcount, Inventory and Accounts Receivable reports for senior management
• Prepare product line profit preforms for management.
• Coordination of the physical inventory

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Cost Accountant, Finance Analyst

INTERACTIONS:
• Requires frequent interaction with every level of supervisor, manager and executive that is responsible for a capital budget..
• Interfaces frequently with outside vendors, Representatives, sales offices, tax department and maintains close relations with financial institution personnel.
• Also must maintain a close working relationship with the following financial disciplines; Cost Accounting, Financial Forecasting, Plant Controllers, Consolidations Group, Vice President of Finance and the Human Resources Managers.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Must have knowledge of GAAP and manufacturing accounting is required and have excellent management/people skills due to interfacing with all levels of associates in and outside the organization. Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent analytical skills and the ability to perform under tight time constraints and extreme pressure. Must have knowledge of consolidation software package (Micro Control preferred), an integrated manufacturing software package (Cullinet preferred) and of the Manufacturing department functions and inter-relationships.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Candidate must have a four-year degree in Accounting and have 8-12 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Must have a CPA or equivalent experience.

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of the financial statements.
• Ensure financial statements are thoroughly analyzed and supported.
• Ensure timely and accurate consolidation of North America financial statements.
• Facilitate continuous process and systems improvements. throughout the financial statement preparation process.
• Timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and POR’s for use by senior management
• Train and develop accounting associates throughout the organization in understanding and applying company policies and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the earnings and improve the efficiency of Corporate via interfacing with and analyzing the results of the operating units.
• Improve the quality and integrity of the data gathering process through the design and development of worldwide systems
