Quality Director
Minimum Requirements: Responsible for leading and implementing strategies to meet Customer requirements globally. Continually ensure compliance, improve processes, and sustain optimum quality performance to Automotive, Industry, and Internal standards. Responsible for maintaining expenditures and budgets to the extent authorized. Four-year college degree. 12 years related manufacturing and quality experience, 7 years in Quality Management. 10 years of significant management responsibility. Background in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, QS-9000, -FEMA, -SPC & 8-D Quality Systems preferred. Must have experience in a manufacturing environment. Previous work experience in a cross-cultural, international environment preferred. Experience in a Japanese business culture a big plus.
Skills: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects under stress.
Ability to lead projects independently and with team members.
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills including strong customer service skills.
Strong hands-on leadership skills, and ability to manage deadlines.
