Plant Manager


Minimum 10 years in a similar position or upper management, experience in automotive electronics, cables, wire harnesses, coax cables, ethernet cables for Automotive advanced driver assistance systems. Develop Strategies, Administer Times, confirm the execution of strategies, implement improvements, develop motivated and competent personnel. Able to deliver deadlines set by company. Continuous improvement of processes and objectives set by company as well as develop employees in the plant. Develop strategies, implement plans and budgets. Design clear job descriptions of roles and duties as well as safety duties for each team member.

Operational Excellence: Develop operational excellence where every employee can dominate the Lean concepts: VA/NVA, 7+1, waste, VSM and operational excellence tools. Support the implementation of operational excellence strategies.

General: Comprehend strategies and execute plans accordingly. Understand and apply vision, mission, values, conduct codes, internal work policies, policies, procedures, regulation and standards. Demonstrate a positive leadership, Constant communication, promote team work, administer time, processes, and proper resources. Propose and implement improvements, recognize and motivate staff, develop necessary competency skills, acknowledge requested evaluations, other duties assigned by upper management.

Safety: Ensure implementation of standards and security strategies. Safety policies, investigate accidents, audits, and all standards applicable to work in Mexico legislation. Administer performance and discharge evaluations and safety standards, quotes, improvements, employee satisfaction, as well as identify opportunities and follow up on matrix of actions. Acknowledge and motivate safety results. Facilitate communication, training and promotion of security.

Quality: Develop strategies, implement quotes and plans. Design clear job descriptions of roles and duties as well as safety duties for each team member. Administer time focused on quality. Assure the following quality strategies are executed: Quality Policies, SQE, QI, QA, Customer, QMS-ISO, metrology & calibration, laboratory testing reliability, Product certification: UL, BDE, Rohs, A3-Tools for problem solving, 6s, Kaizen, QFD, QPS & CTQ, AMEF & Control Plan, Poka Yoke-Error Proofing, Visual Factory system, MSA, SPC, PPAP, APQP, DFM, Six Sigma-DMAIC. Acknowledge and motivate quality results. Facilitate the communication and training and promotion of the quality culture.

Deliver: Ensure the execution and strategies and delivery standards:
S&OPM, ERP, Regional Supply Chain Development, VMI, JIT, Kanban, (Max, min to raw, WIP & FG's) y Materials Flow-Spaguetti,
VSM, Standard Work, (TT, CT, QPS, Sequence, Yamazumi, Lay out, BOM), Cellularization, OPF y Continuous Flow, NPD, VA/VE, Project Evaluation, DFSS, SKU Standardization/rationalization (same platform), NPI, ECN, TPM, Andon, SMED (QCO or SETO UP), Automation and Robotics. Administer metrics and performance of strategies and delivery standards, proposals, improvements, employee satisfaction, as well as identify opportunities and follow up on matrix actions. Acknowledge and motivate delivery results. Facilitate communication, training and performance of delivery culture.

Degree in Industrial, Electric or Mechanical Engineering, or similar, Masters Degree a plus. Bilingual-English & Spanish, Microsoft Office, knowledge of world class strategy modules, operational excellence and lean manufacturing tools a must, quality management systems knowledge.

Salary: DOE, depends on experience paid in pesos
