Supply Chain Manager

Develop, implement and execute strategic supply chain processes in support of supply chain and business objectives.
1. Accountable for managing the overall strategic production planning practices taking into consideration short-term/long-term production requirements and integrating materials availability. Will establish and implement procedures for special order requests, engineering changes and part substitutions and sales market demand for products.
2. Accountable for optimizing inventory turns – minimizing excess and obsolete inventory through product life cycle management.
3. Accountable for maximizing service levels, in conjunction with inventory goals, through distribution requirement planning and deployments.
4. Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams in support of strategic initiatives both within the supply chain organization and across the business units.
5. Manages entire planning process, including procurement, manufacturing, inventory control, distribution and logistics.
6. Facilitates communication with key personnel and lines managers in the procurement, manufacturing, inventory control, distribution and logistics department of the organization to ensure understanding objectives.

Skills: Knowledge of Manufacturing Planning processes required (Oracle knowledge preferred), Strong analytical aptitude, demonstrated ability to present data in support of decision-making process. Strong verbal and written communication skills, Ability to lead teams and projects, Results oriented self-starter, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task to accomplish goals, B.S. Degree in a Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics or other technical field, coupled with minimum 5 years of related work experience in manufacturing operations environment; 5+ Years of Supply Chain experience preferred.
