Quality Assurance Manager-MX

Bachelors Degree in a related field (Quality Assurance, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a Science major), or two year degree in a related field, along with specific core QA and Manufacturing Engineering training through attendance at seminars and/or topic-specific training;
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in a variety of QA related positions, in ever-increasing roles and responsibilities preferred.
• Knowledge of QA specifications, such as ISO9001:2008 and AS9100 preferred.
• Knowledge or training in Statistical Process Control (SPC) or Six (6) Sigma preferred. Proficient in the use of standard office software programs and equipment. Ensures and provides quality service to both internal and external customers. Contributes to the development and maintenance of standards, policies and procedures regarding customer requirements/specifications. Adheres to all corporate policies, guidelines and statutory requirements and recommends to senior management adoption and/or changes to policies and guidelines to reflect circumstances within the quality assurance area.
Works with the organization’s other facilities to resolve problems, facilitate solutions and enhance quality issues. Provides back-up support to other group members in the performance of job duties as required. Answers customer inquiries/communications as required.
Conducts follow up phone calls to survey respondents who have concerns or questions. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
